Toongabbie Knockdown Rebuild
A five-bedroom two-storey family home designed to replace the former dwelling and make practical use of a generous Western Sydney site.
Project overview
The project removes the existing house and replaces it with a new detached residence planned through a coordinated CDC and construction-documentation process. The approximately 1,186 m² site allows the home to balance substantial family accommodation with clear setbacks, landscaped areas and a practical street arrival.
The ground floor brings together open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas, a separate lounge, guest bedroom with ensuite, gym, laundry, internal courtyard and double garage. Upstairs, the master suite, three further bedrooms, study and family retreat are arranged around the central stair and entry void.
BASIX commitments, rainwater collection, wet-area falls, smoke alarms, window protection, structural coordination and construction detailing are incorporated into the drawing set so the design can progress from approval to site with fewer gaps.

Design taking shape
From visualisation to construction.
The July 2026 site photograph shows the main façade proportions, cream brickwork, charcoal roof, deep eaves, balconies and central entry taking shape. External finishes, the garage door, paving and landscaping remain in progress.
